Important: If you are planning to publish your Flash banner with a third-party ad network or publisher, please check with them first about specific requirements they might have for Flash ads.
Typically, the most important specification is the maximum allowed size of the banner SWF file. You should keep the file size of the banner you create under this limit. Our banner maker interface keeps you informed on the current file size of your banner in kilobytes (KB).
Keep in mind the following when creating your banner:
• complex, fancy-looking fonts add more kilobytes than the simple, basic ones. They may also slow down the banner animation playback on some low-end computers;
• use the same font for all the text lines of your ad copy.
Note that scaling or rotating your texts does not affect the banner file size (this is one of advantages of the vector Flash SWF format).
